A complete reference for earning money across all three eras. Covers pocket-change street work, part-time jobs, proficiency careers, gambling, dungeon loot, investments, and the brothel passive-income empire.
Overview: The Wealth Progression Ladder
Money in Chronoromancer comes from many sources, and each unlocks at a different stage of your character's development. Here's the rough ladder:
- Day 1 broke-but-willing work — Busking or Flyer Distribution in Downtown
- Stat 10-15 part-time jobs — 14 different Present Era jobs
- Stat 15 specialist jobs — Bouncer, Sparring Partner, Lifeguard (better pay, stat/time-gated)
- Stat 30 proficiency career — your main long-term income job tied to your proficiency
- Investments — passive income from $50 coffee shops up to multi-million-dollar enterprises
- Dungeon loot — chests, skull tiles, treasure piles, scenario rewards
- Gambling & minigames — Vera's bar games, fishing
- The Brothel — your late-game passive empire
Most mid-game runs look like: morning proficiency career shift → afternoon dungeon or training → evening brothel management → daily investment cash-out. That's your wealth engine.
1 — Day 1 Income: Busking and Flyers
Two jobs are available the moment you arrive at the Downtown City Street (a free-travel location with no stat gates):
Busking — Street Music for Tips
Location: Downtown City Street
Hours: Available 24/7 (no time gate)
Time cost: 60 min
Energy/Calm cost: −30 energy, −30 calm
Formula: Creativity × 2 + random(1, 10)
Skill bonus: Master Performer doubles the Creativity multiplier (×2 → ×4)
At Creativity 10 without Master Performer: roughly $21-30 per session. With Master Performer: $41-50 per session. Creativity 20 with skill: $81-90 per session.
Who starts with Master Performer: The Musician proficiency begins with this skill. Others must learn it through the Bards Guild (more on that later). If you're Musician, busking is a genuinely strong early income source.
Math tip: Every point of Creativity = +$2 per session base, +$4 with Master Performer. Train Creativity at the Music Studio as soon as you can.
Distribute Flyers — Zero-Requirement Work
Location: Downtown City Street
Hours: 8 AM - 8 PM
Time cost: 45 min
Energy/Calm cost: −20 energy, −15 calm
Formula: Communication × 1 + random(1, 8)
Skill bonus: None
At Communication 10: roughly $11-18 per session. This is your floor — it exists so you're never truly broke. Not glamorous, but you can do 5-6 shifts in a day and earn $60-100 with no stat gates at all.
Day 1 Strategy
- Musician proficiency: Busk all day. You'll earn more than any other Day 1 option.
- Other proficiencies: Alternate Flyers and Busking until your core stat hits 10, then switch to part-time jobs.
- Always broke: Flyers is your safety net. No stat requirement means it's always available.
2 — Part-Time Jobs (Stat 10-15)
Once one of your core stats hits 10, a whole tier of part-time jobs opens up. There are 14 part-time jobs scattered across Uptown and Downtown Present Era locations, each tied to a specific stat.
Universal formula for part-time jobs: Stat × Multiplier + random(min, max). Some have skill bonuses of ×1.5.
All share:
- 60 min time cost
- Energy/calm cost varies (see table)
- No stat growth chance (these are pure income, not training)
Uptown Part-Time Jobs
| Job | Location | Req | Hours | Energy/Calm | Formula | Skill Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stock Shelves | Convenience Store | Stamina 10 | 7 AM-11 PM | −25 / −10 | Sta × 1 + r(3,12) | — |
| Library Assistant | City Library | Intelligence 10 | 8 AM-8 PM | −15 / −10 | Int × 1 + r(2,10) | — |
| Market Helper | Farmers Market | Cooking 10 | 6 AM-5 PM | −25 / −5 | Cook × 1 + r(3,10) | Cook Food ×1.5 |
| Community Volunteer | Community Center | Communication 10 | 9 AM-5 PM | −15 / −15 | Comm × 1 + r(2,8) | Empathy ×1.5 |
| Tutor Students | University Classroom | Intelligence 15 | 8 AM-6 PM | −20 / −20 | Int × 1 + r(5,15) | Researching ×1.5 |
| Lifeguard Duty | City Beach | Stamina 15 | 8 AM-6 PM | −30 / −5 | Sta × 1 + r(5,12) | Swimming ×1.5 |
Downtown Part-Time Jobs
| Job | Location | Req | Hours | Energy/Calm | Formula | Skill Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mall Retail | Shopping Mall | Charm 10 | 9 AM-9 PM | −20 / −20 | Cha × 1 + r(3,12) | Fashion ×1.5 |
| Food Court Server | Food Court | Ability 10 | 10 AM-9 PM | −25 / −15 | Abi × 1 + r(2,10) | — |
| Dishwasher | Restaurant | Stamina 10 | 10 AM-10 PM | −30 / −5 | Sta × 1 + r(3,10) | Cook Food ×1.5 |
| Data Entry | Offices | Technology 10 | 9 AM-5 PM | −15 / −20 | Tech × 1 + r(3,12) | System Hacking ×1.5 |
| Bar Back | Downtown Bar | Stamina 10 | 5 PM-2 AM | −25 / −10 | Sta × 1 + r(3,10) | — |
| Sparring Partner | Dojo | Str 15 AND Abi 15 | 10 AM-7 PM | −35 / −5 | Str × 1 + r(5,15) | Martial Arts ×1.5 |
| Bouncer | Night Club | Strength 15 | 9 PM-3 AM | −25 / −15 | Str × 1.5 + r(5,15) | Intimidating Presence ×1.5 |
Key Observations
Bouncer is the highest-paying part-time job. It's the only part-time with a ×1.5 stat multiplier. At Strength 20 with Intimidating Presence: roughly $57-67 per shift. Pair it with Bar Back for full evening coverage.
Night jobs exist — Bar Back (5 PM-2 AM) and Bouncer (9 PM-3 AM) are crucial if your proficiency career only runs daytime hours.
Every core stat has a part-time job — whatever your build, there's work. Even low-stat characters can get by with Dishwasher or Stock Shelves.
Part-time jobs have NO stat growth. They're pure income. Train your stats separately at the Gym, University, etc.
3 — Proficiency Careers (Stat 30+)
Once your primary stat hits 30, your proficiency career unlocks — these are your real long-term income jobs.
Universal formula: random(stat, stat × 2) + 15
Time cost: 60 min
Energy cost: −30 (no calm cost)
Stat growth chance: 8% per shift (+1 to primary stat)
Skill bonus: ×2.0 multiplier with the proficiency's key skill
Proficiency Career Table
| Proficiency | Career | Location | Primary Stat | Hours | Skill (×2) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Body Builder | Personal Trainer | Gym | Strength | default | Berserker Rage |
| Scholar | Teacher | University Classroom | Intelligence | default | Material Science |
| Salesman | Car Salesman | Car Dealer | Communication | 9 AM-6 PM | Negotiation |
| Magician | Illusionist | Mystic Curiosities | Mystic | 9 AM-6 PM | Illusion Weaving |
| Computer Expert | IT Specialist | Computer Lab | Technology | default | Quantum Computing |
| Musician | Producer | Music Studio | Creativity | 12 PM-11 PM | Song Writing |
| Martial Artist | Sensei | Dojo | Stamina | 10 AM-7 PM | Weapon Mastery |
| Player | Promoter | Night Club | Charm | 9 PM-3 AM | Reputation Management |
| Games Master | Gamer | Arcade | Luck | 12 PM-10 PM | Cheating |
| Athlete | Coach | Basketball Court | Stamina | default | Leadership |
Income Expectations
Without skill bonus:
- Stat 30:
~$45-75per shift - Stat 50:
~$65-115per shift - Stat 80:
~$95-175per shift
With proficiency skill (×2.0 multiplier): double all of those. At Stat 50 + skill: ~$130-230 per shift. That's the real breakpoint where money stops being a constraint.
The Jack of All Trades Penalty
If you chose Jack of All Trades as your proficiency, you get a massive unlock — you can work every proficiency career once you have the stat requirement. But there's a catch:
Jack of All Trades earns 70% of normal income on all proficiency careers. So a Stat 30 shift that would pay $45-75 normally pays $31-52 for a Jack character.
Bypass: The Buffer Optimization upgrade (Patreon-gated content) removes this penalty entirely.
Why pick Jack anyway? Flexibility. If you want to run 3-4 different stat builds in one playthrough, Jack lets you switch careers without being locked into one proficiency's job. For most players it's a trade-off, not a nerf.
Non-Proficiency Universal Careers
Two additional career-tier jobs don't require any specific proficiency:
Chef (Restaurant, Downtown):
- Requirement: Cooking 30+
- Hours: 10 AM-10 PM
- Same formula:
random(Cook, Cook × 2) + 15 - Skill: Creative Cooking ×2.0
- Unique perk: Fills your satiation to MAX every shift — you save food costs every time you work here. At high Cooking stats, this is the best job in the game.
Broker (Investment Planning, Office Building):
- Requirement: Commerce 30+
- Hours: 9 AM-5 PM
- Special formula:
random((Charm + Communication), (Commerce + Intelligence)) + Luck - Skill: Market Analysis ×2.0
The Broker has the highest income ceiling in the game. Four different stats feed into the formula plus Luck. At all four stats at 50 plus Luck 30: income range would be roughly $130-230 before the ×2 skill bonus. With Market Analysis skill: $260-460 per shift. The late-game money-making king.
Commerce skill also boosts investments separately (see Section 6) — Broker is the single most synergistic career path.
4 — Vera's Bar Minigames (Gambling Income)
The Downtown Bar is a popular evening spot run by Vera — and she runs four different minigames you can play for money. These serve three purposes:
- Direct income when you win (or losses when you don't)
- Vera's romance gates trigger at specific net-winnings thresholds
- Pure entertainment — they're well-designed minigames
All four are pure optional content. If gambling isn't your style, you can skip this section entirely.
The Four Games
Liar's Dice
- Classic bluffing dice game — 5 dice each, 1s count as wild
- Wager tiers: from low-stakes casual (just drinks) up through $10 / $25 / $50 / $75 / $100
- Higher wagers = smarter Vera AI. At $100 she's genuinely tough to bluff
- Double-or-nothing can appear mid-game for a big risk/reward spike
- Helpful skills: Cheating and Reading People improve your odds
Darts (369)
- Skill-based throwing game — race to zero from 369, must finish on a double
- Fixed stakes per game, no betting tier selection
- Pure dexterity minigame (timing-based click), improves with practice more than stats
- Win gives money and relationship points with Vera; loss costs Vera relationship
Christmas Hold'em
- Poker variant — jokers wild
- Pot-based — bets accumulate through raises, strong hands can pay hundreds
- Vera has a fixed bankroll — draining it completely triggers a special scene
- Ante tiers: $10 / $50 / $100 (Low / Medium / High)
Blackjack
- Classic 21 against Vera as dealer
- Standard blackjack rules
- Money flows based on hand outcomes
Vera's Romance Gates (Net Winnings Tracked)
The game tracks your cumulative net winnings/losses across ALL four Vera games combined in a single vera_net figure. At specific thresholds, romance plots unlock:
| Net Won | Plot Triggered |
|---|---|
| +$800 | "The Tell" |
| +$1,200 | "Bad Night" |
| +$1,800 | "Crossing the Line" |
| +$4,000 | "Last Card" (requires Romantic stage + prior H2H) |
This is a unique romance path — most NPCs are gated by talk/gift grinding, but Vera is gated by gambling skill. If you enjoy the minigames, you're effectively progressing two things at once.
Strategy Notes
- Gambling is variance, not reliable income. Don't bet rent money.
- Start small. Play low-wager Liar's Dice and Darts to learn the patterns before scaling up.
- Darts has no money floor — you can't go broke from bad darting — the stakes are fixed per game.
- Christmas Hold'em has the biggest upside — draining Vera's full bankroll is a big payday.
- Skills that help gambling: Silver Tongue, Reading People, Sleight of Hand (learned at Mystic Curiosities), Deception, Cheating.
- Late-game Vera also teaches Intimate Communication and related skills as her relationship deepens.
5 — Fishing: A Steady Supplemental Income
Location: Fishing Hut (Medieval Outskirts, Fishing Village) — also accessible at Present Era Docks for some fishing activities Requires: The Fishing Lesson from Marina (first-time tutorial)
Fishing is a minigame where you navigate a boat through water, collecting rings that represent fish catches. It's primarily a minigame, but it produces real income.
How Fishing Pays
- Each fish caught has a rarity (common, rare, epic)
- Fish are sold at the Fishing Hut or directly to Marina for their market value
- Rare and epic catches pay significantly more than common fish
- Legendary fish (including the Leviathan) pay major one-time rewards
Fishing Progression
- First: Get the Fishing Lesson from Marina (Fishing Hut, 4 AM-5 PM)
- Use Fishing Bait (mystery item) as an early boost to catch rates
- Boat upgrades from Marina (scaling costs: $5,000 → $15,000 → $50,000) increase fishing speed and range
- Helpful skills: Master Baiter (better rarity/spawn rates), Fry Fish (cook catches for food)
When to Use Fishing for Income
Fishing is not your primary income strategy — it pays less per minute than a proficiency career. But it's excellent when:
- You're relaxing between bigger activities
- Your Stamina/Calm are depleted for standard work
- You want to train Perception and Luck passively
- You're farming the 10-species Tutorial Quest reward (+400 wealth bonus)
For most players, fishing is a "fun break" income supplement rather than a core strategy.
6 — Dungeon Crawling: Loot, Gold, and Treasure
The dungeon (accessed via Medieval Monastery Scriptoria) is one of the richest sources of wealth in the game — but it's also dangerous. Expect to walk out with $200-500+ per run by Floor 5-10, rising sharply as you push deeper.
Sources of Dungeon Wealth
Treasure Chests
- Locked chests spawn on each floor
- Requires a Strength or Ability check to force open, OR Lockpicking skill to bypass
- Gold reward scales with floor level (deeper = more gold)
- Lockpicking is the single most valuable dungeon skill — learn it at the Thieves Guild
Skull Tiles
- Trapped tiles that test your Luck
- Successful check = one-time treasure equivalent to a chest
- Failed check = you take damage or lose stats
- Perception 22+ skill: see the warning signs
Treasure Piles
- Large floor-level treasure stashes
- Perception 22+ avoids a trap version of this tile
- Luck check doubles the payout — building Luck pays off here
Dragon Coins
- Premium currency found on tiles and from scenario rewards
- Spent at dungeon merchants (not usable at surface shops)
- Used for rare consumables, skills, and high-tier equipment
Glow Tiles (Green / Yellow / Blue)
- Step on them for random rewards
- Drops include: consumables, crafting resources, Dragon Coins, small gold
- Free loot with no risk
Scenario Rewards
- Random scenarios (8% trigger rate per step) can award gold, stats, Dragon Coins, or key items
- The Vampire Ring scenario gives the permanent "1 Ring" key item (+1 to all relationship gains) — not gold, but priceless
- Goldman scenario (Floor 5+) — Storytelling skill unlocks a dialogue path for major gold
Dungeon Income Expectations
| Floor | Per-Run Payout (rough) |
|---|---|
| 1-2 | $50-150 + basic resources |
| 3-5 | $150-300 + common/rare materials |
| 6-10 | $300-500+ with chests and scenarios |
| 11-20 | $500-1,000+ per deep run |
Actual amounts depend on RNG — a lucky run with multiple chests, skull wins, and good scenario rolls can easily double these figures.
Dungeon Strategy Tips
- Learn Lockpicking first. Never miss a chest.
- Build Luck to 25+ before pushing deep — treasure piles, skull tiles, and scenario rolls all benefit.
- Bring food. Running out of energy mid-dungeon ends your run badly.
- Perfect Metabolism skill (Future Era) reduces food consumption — useful for marathon runs.
- Strong bosses on specific floors — see the main Early Game Walkthrough Section 7 for miniboss-by-miniboss details.
7 — The Investment System: Passive Wealth at Scale
Location: Investment Planning (Downtown → Office Building → Investment Planning desk)
The Investment System is where wealth becomes real. 50 investments are available, each with 5 upgrade levels, ranging from a $50 Coffee Shop to a $1,000,000 Space Mining operation. Once purchased, they generate passive daily income that accumulates while you play — you just visit the desk and cash out.
How It Works
Daily Income Formula:
Daily Income = (Total Cumulative Cost Invested) ÷ 50
Every investment pays back its full cumulative cost in 50 days. Past that, it's pure profit forever. This is why investments are mathematically always worth it given enough time.
Example — Coffee Shop:
- Level 1: $50 → ~$1/day
- Level 2: $50 + $75 = $125 cumulative → ~$2.50/day (Level 1 daily income increases with upgrade)
- Level 3: $125 + $110 = $235 cumulative → ~$4.70/day
- Level 5 max: ~$13/day from a single $650 total investment
Risk Tiers and Variance:
| Risk | Daily Income Range (of base) |
|---|---|
| Low | 80% - 110% |
| Medium | 60% - 140% |
| High | 0% - 200% |
High-risk investments average the same payout as Low-risk over many days — but individual days can be $0 or 2× jackpots. Keep this in mind when planning daily cash flow.
Starter Investment Menu (best early buys)
| Investment | Cost (L1) | Risk | ~Daily (L1) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coffee Shop | $50 | Low | $1 |
| Delivery Co | $60 | Medium | $1.20 |
| Food Truck | $70 | Medium | $1.40 |
| Barbershop | $80 | Low | $1.60 |
| Laundromat | $100 | Low | $2 |
| Bookstore | $130 | Medium | $2.60 |
| Gym Shares | $150 | Medium | $3 |
| Pet Grooming | $180 | Low | $3.60 |
Rule of thumb: Buy every Low-risk investment at Level 1 as fast as possible. They're the reliable foundation. Then start upgrading.
Multipliers That Stack
Four separate bonuses multiply your investment income:
| Bonus | Effect | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Investment Savvy skill | 15% discount on ALL investment costs | Portia (Villa apartment H2H, requires deep relationship) OR Arestes (Thieves Guild Hidden Chamber, Known+, Intelligence 19, $500) |
| Market Analysis skill | Boosts the MINIMUM variance by 20% (reduces bad days) | Broker career skill or trainer |
| Commerce stat | +0.1% per Commerce point (Commerce ÷ 1000 multiplier) | Commerce training |
| Buffer Optimization (Patreon) | +5% to all daily earnings | Patreon Master perk |
Math check on Commerce: Commerce 50 = +5% income. Commerce 100 = +10%. Not huge, but it stacks with everything.
The Investment Savvy priority: Two paths — Portia's Villa apartment H2H (deep romance arc, requires 600+ relationship and prior H2H completions) OR Arestes (Thieves Guild Hidden Chamber, just needs Known+ relationship, Intelligence 19, and $500). Arestes is the faster route for a wealth-focused build; Portia is the route if you're already romancing her. Either way, the 15% discount on every investment purchase forever is enormous. On $100k in late-game investments, that's $15,000 saved. Absolute top-priority skill for any serious wealth player.
Investment Strategy by Phase
Early game (Day 1-20):
- Buy Coffee Shop ($50) and Barbershop ($80) as your very first investments
- Upgrade them to Level 2-3 before buying new ones
- Passive income: $5-10/day
Mid game (Day 20-50):
- Max all Low-risk investments to Level 5
- Add Medium-risk if you have cash surplus
- Passive income: $50-150/day
Late game (Day 50+):
- Push into big-ticket investments ($10k+)
- Consider High-risk for upside variance (if you can afford $0 days)
- Passive income: $500-5,000+/day
Investment Cash-Out
Income accumulates passively while you play. Visit the Investment Planning desk and click Cash Out to collect. There's no penalty for letting it accumulate — only a mental/UI reminder to check it periodically.
8 — The Brothel: Your Late-Game Wealth Engine
Location: Medieval Era → King's Demesne → The Brothel Unlock: Complete the 7-step Brothel Quest Chain (see Early Game Walkthrough Section 6)
Once you own the brothel, it becomes the single largest source of passive income in the game. Workers serve clients, you collect nightly revenue, and the scaling multipliers compound over time.
How Brothel Income Works
Each night, every worker you've assigned to a room generates revenue based on:
- Worker stats (Charisma, Stamina, Intelligence affect earnings)
- Worker loyalty (higher loyalty = better performance)
- Room upgrade level (Level 1-5 rooms with scaling income)
- Decor upgrades (up to +25% income at Decor Level 5)
- Cleanliness (below 60% tanks income — hire maids!)
- Reputation Level (20 tiers of scaling multipliers)
- Service Room Apprentices (+5% each, up to 3 apprentices, +15% total)
- Christmas Wreath decoration (+5%)
- Buffer Optimization / Patreon Master (+5%)
Reputation Scaling — The Biggest Multiplier
The Brothel has 20 Reputation Levels. Each level increases your income multiplier. At Reputation 10+, a well-run brothel dwarfs any manual income source in the game. At Reputation 15-20, a single night's earnings can exceed a full day of proficiency career work.
How to build reputation:
- Successful client satisfactions
- Room cleanliness maintained
- Worker variety and quality
- Promotion Level (separate from Reputation) multiplies gain rates
- Special events (Christmas, Valentine, etc.) boost reputation
Key Investments Into The Brothel
In rough priority order:
- Hire maids immediately after purchasing. Dirty rooms = lost income. Chronic cleanliness is the #1 reason new brothel owners lose money.
- Upgrade room capacity first, then decor. More workers serving = more revenue. Then decor scaling kicks in.
- Recruit high-stat workers. Better stats = better per-client earnings. See the character walkthroughs for recruitment paths (Honey, Fernando's clothing plots lead to workers, etc.).
- Build Service Room Apprentices to max (+15% total). One-time unlocks, ongoing bonus.
- Keep reputation momentum. Every client served well = small rep bump. Every failed satisfaction = rep loss.
Brothel Strategy Flow
Week 1 after purchase:
- Hire 1-2 maids for cleanliness
- Starting workers get assigned to Level 1 rooms
- Run daily routine: check cleanliness, refresh supplies, assign workers
Week 2-4:
- Upgrade room 1 to Level 2-3
- Start recruiting named workers via their questlines
- Pay attention to Worker Loyalty — low-loyalty workers underperform
Month 2+:
- Expand to more rooms
- Push Decor to Level 3-5 in signature rooms
- Reputation Level 10+ = serious income
- Start buying high-ticket investments from brothel profits
Long-term:
- 20+ workers, all rooms at Decor Level 5, Reputation 15+
- Nightly income: $3,000-10,000+ depending on scaling
- Combined with maxed investments and Broker shifts: you're earning more than you can spend
Useful Brothel-Adjacent Skills & Systems
- Leadership skill boosts worker performance
- Commerce affects brothel economic decisions
- Worker Item System — equipment for workers, earned via Fighters Guild quests
- Room-specific bonuses — some rooms have unique client types with unique pay scales
- The Daily Events System — periodic events can boost or harm a given day's income
For comprehensive brothel management details beyond what wealth requires, refer to the Brothel Management Documentation.
9 — Daily Strategy: Stacking Income Streams
By mid-game, you should be running multiple income streams simultaneously. Here's a realistic daily schedule that maximizes earnings without burning out on any single activity.
Sample Mid-Game Day (Stat 30+, Brothel Owned)
7-8 AM: Visit Investment Planning, cash out overnight earnings ($50-500+) 8-10 AM: Proficiency career shift (or Broker/Chef if Commerce/Cooking build) 10 AM-12 PM: Dungeon run — Floor 5-10 for chests, scenarios, skull tiles 12-1 PM: Eat/rest, upgrade equipment if materials gathered 1-4 PM: Second career shift OR romance building (relationships also contribute value) 4-6 PM: Brothel management — collect revenue, check cleanliness, make upgrades 6-9 PM: Romance progression, Tutorial Quests, story beats 9 PM-Midnight: Bouncer OR Nightclub Promoter (evening income), or Vera's bar games
Total daily income (rough): $500-2,000+ depending on luck, brothel scale, and investments Plus: Continuous stat growth, relationship building, story progression
Income Priority Ladder Recap
When deciding what to do for money, check your tier:
| Stage | Primary Income | Time-to-Implement |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Busking or Flyers | Immediate |
| Week 1 | Part-time job (Stat 10+) | 2-3 days training |
| Week 2-3 | Specialist part-time (Stat 15+) | 5-7 days training |
| Week 3-4 | Proficiency career (Stat 30+) | 10-15 days training |
| Week 4+ | Investments (first purchases) | After $500+ saved |
| Month 2+ | Dungeon runs for larger sums | After equipment built |
| Month 2-3 | The Brothel (7-quest chain) | Full Medieval-era progression |
| Month 3+ | Broker career (Commerce 30+) | Commerce build required |
| Month 3+ | Scaled Brothel + Investments | Combines all previous work |
Efficiency Tips
Always prefer stat-training when possible. Part-time jobs give no stat growth — proficiency careers give 8%. The difference compounds massively over 20+ days.
Stack career skills. A Scholar with Researching + Material Science doubles their teacher income. Every proficiency has a matching ×2 skill — learn it first chance you get.
Don't hoard cash. Idle money earns nothing. $100 in your pocket does less than $100 in a Barbershop investment.
The "Sleep Strategy" reminder: Sleeping passes 8 hours and fully restores energy/calm. That's 8 hours of investment earnings accruing while you "do nothing." Multiple investment cash-outs per day.
Perfect combo: Chef + Satiation. If you have Cooking 30+, Chef is the only job that fills your satiation to max per shift — saving $20-50 in food costs and freeing another time slot.
Skills Every Wealth-Focused Player Should Learn
In rough priority:
| Skill | Effect | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Lockpicking | Opens every dungeon chest | Thieves Guild (Ability 16+) |
| Investment Savvy | 15% discount on all investments | Portia (Villa H2H) OR Arestes (Thieves Guild) |
| Your proficiency's ×2 skill | Doubles career income | Varies by proficiency |
| Market Analysis | Boosts investment min variance 20% | Commerce trainer |
| Master Performer | Doubles busking income | Bards Guild or Musician proficiency |
| Master Baiter | Better fishing spawns/rarities | Marina |
| Leadership | Boosts brothel worker performance | Various trainers |
| Perfect Metabolism | Reduces food consumption | Future Era |
| Creative Cooking | Doubles Chef income | Restaurant trainer |
What NOT to Do
- Don't grind part-time jobs past Stat 30. Your proficiency career pays 2-5× more.
- Don't gamble on Vera games unless you can afford to lose. They're variance-based.
- Don't skip Investment Savvy. 15% off investments forever is too good to pass up.
- Don't let the brothel drop below 60% cleanliness. You'll lose more to bad reputation than maid wages cost.
- Don't fish as primary income. It's a great break activity but a weak main strategy.

Communication × 1 + random(1, 8)
通用公式: random(stat, stat × 2) + 15
random(Cook, Cook × 2) + 15 - 技能:创意烹饪×2.0
- Vera
- Vera
Vera
Daily Income = (Total Cumulative Cost Invested) ÷ 50
|---|---|---|
| 投资眼光技能 | 所有投资费用降低15% | Portia(别墅公寓谈心,需要深入发展关系)或Arestes(盗贼公会隐藏密室,已知以上、智力19、$500) |
| 投资眼光 | 所有投资享受15%折扣 | Portia(别墅谈心)或Arestes(盗贼公会) |
