Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 19, 2026

Chronoromancer Studio ("we", "us") is committed to respecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.

What We Collect

When you launch Chronoromancer or load a save file, the game sends a small, anonymous ping to our private server. This ping contains:

Detailed Gameplay Statistics

The game collects rudimentary anonymous gameplay statistics for development purposes. This data helps the developers understand which systems players engage with most, identify balance issues, and prioritize future content. All statistics are viewed only as aggregate totals and averages — no statistic is linked to any individual player.

These statistics will also be used to power future features, including opt-in leaderboards and in-game achievement awards.

Anonymous statistics collected include:

Combat & Exploration

Character Progression

Social & Story

Brothel Management

Minigames & Activities

Extras Gallery

World & Time

Miscellaneous

Internal Integrity

All data exists only as anonymous numbers in a private database. There is no way to determine who any individual statistic belongs to.

What We Do NOT Collect

Why We Collect This Data

This anonymous telemetry serves two purposes:

How Data Is Stored

All data is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS to a private database. It is never shared with, sold to, or accessible by any third party.

No Persistent Tracking

We do not use cookies, browser fingerprinting, advertising trackers, or any form of persistent identification. Each game session generates a completely new, random session ID that is discarded when you close the game. There is no way to link sessions to a specific person.

Your Rights

Because the data we collect is genuinely anonymous and cannot be linked to any individual, it falls outside the scope of most data protection regulations (including GDPR Recital 26). However, we believe in transparency and have published this policy voluntarily.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change what data we collect, this page will be updated accordingly.
