Overview

The King, also listed as King Graham, rules Kings Demesne in the Medieval era. His current walkthrough includes royal audiences, a one-time Leader-stat reward, the food-supply quest that opens the Rose & Thorn, later court encounters, a paid proclamation and an optional brothel-client appearance. This guide gives the practical route without retelling the court scenes.

Favorite stats improve the shared relationship calculation; Leadership doubles its multiplier. Affection below is base affection unless marked direct. Leadership Wisdom does not teach Leadership; the skill and Leader stat are distinct.
  1. Enter Royal Castle → Throne Room for daytime audiences, or use Go to Royal Bedroom for the evening portrait. Talk up to five times daily across both rooms.
  2. Complete Sashina's Brothel Confession, then return to Throne Room, 10 AM–5 PM, while Elara is not on vacation, for The King's Challenge.
  3. Reach Known with Sonia, then visit Present Research Lab, 9 AM–5 PM, for Agricultural Research Discussion.
  4. Use the newly available Farmers Market route from Present Mountains. Choose Christy's Potato Education while she is present 7 AM–5 PM, for 120 minutes and $50.
  5. Carry the awarded Sack of Potatoes back to Throne Room, 10 AM–5 PM, with Elara not on vacation, for The Potato Solution.
  6. Visit Medieval Rural Farm, 6 AM–6 PM, with Honey not on vacation, for Potato Knowledge Delivery. Then revisit Throne Room, 10 AM–5 PM, with Elara available, for The Royal Appointment.
  7. To begin the later court route, complete The Chamberlain's introduction, reach Acknowledged with him and the King, build brothel reputation 4, then use Discuss the Rose & Thorn Accounts, Throne Room, 5–7 PM.
  8. At Known and Communication 50, optionally claim Leadership Wisdom. Learn Leadership before claiming it if you want the intended Leader-stat increase; see the current-code note below.
  9. At brothel reputation 2, the separate Request Royal Proclamation activity adds one promotion level for 2,000 gold. At reputation 17, he can also appear in the separate private-client rotation.
The early food quest requires no King affection stage above Stranger. High favorite stats and Leadership improve affection but do not replace the quest sequence.

Use Enter Castle to reach the Throne Room, then Go to Royal Bedroom to enter his evening location. These travel actions have zero game-time cost and no King-friendship requirement.
Some court activities take place 5–7 PM after his normal daytime portrait disappears. Use their location activity or automatic scene, rather than waiting for his portrait to return. The evening bedroom conversation does not substitute for a Throne Room quest encounter.

Daily Audience

Talk to The King costs 15 minutes, gives 1 base affection, and works from Stranger. Its five daily uses are shared across the Throne Room and Royal Bedroom; moving rooms does not reset them. The full normal daily allowance is 75 minutes and 5 base affection before relationship modifiers.
An over-limit audience records −1 base affection. The different private-room and kingdom dialogue variations do not create additional daily counters or separate quests.

Leadership Wisdom

Choose Leadership Wisdom from his Throne Room portrait, 10 AM–5 PM, at Known and Communication 50. It completes once, takes 30 minutes, gives 8 direct King affection, and attempts to increase Leader by 1. No money or Energy cost is configured.
Current-code detail: the Leader stat is created when you learn Leadership. This stat-reward handler only increases an already existing stat. If you claim Wisdom before Leader exists, the action still records completion and gives its affection, but the Leader increase is not applied. Learn Leadership first if you want that increase. Wisdom itself neither teaches the skill nor initializes the stat.
The action has no separate food-quest or court-reputation prerequisite. It is not available on the Royal Bedroom portrait.

Food-Supply Quest

All stages complete once. Follow them in this order; the earlier stages also open access to the later locations.

Sonia's highest bonus is Curious +5, making 15 base Sonia affection including completion. The other answers give Game +3 or Debate +4. The King's Challenge and Royal Appointment dialogue choices all converge on their normal completion and have no registered extra choice-affection bonuses.
The three King/Elara stages require only Stranger with each. The Potato Solution checks for the Sack of Potatoes, then consumes it. Wilfred's delivery checks the completed Potato Solution, so you do not need to obtain another sack after the King consumes the first one.
The Royal Appointment grants Rose & Thorn ownership, initializes Office level 1 and Master Bedroom level 1, and activates Elara as worker 1. Your ownership and later business operation choices remain separate steps; the King's friendship does not select a business mode for you.

Later Court Route

The opening is manual: choose Discuss the Rose & Thorn Accounts in Throne Room, 5–7 PM. Requirements are The Royal Appointment completed, The Man Behind the Audience completed, King Acknowledged, Lord Chamberlain Acknowledged and brothel reputation 4. It takes zero game-time cost of its own and completes Royal Revenue Review once.
The Chamberlain's introduction is an automatic Throne Room encounter during 7–10 AM or 5–7 PM, without a prior friendship requirement. After the opening, the route moves between the court and the Rose & Thorn. The following table gives the successive gates needed to reach all of the King's later scenes; it leaves their conversations and resolutions to the game.

Apart from the first manual activity, the listed stages are automatic, completing once when their gates are met. Each stage requires the previous listed court stage; any additional introductions, relationship thresholds and reputation requirements remain necessary. Elara's vacation checks apply to the stages that list her availability.

For the greatest King affection, take Funny or Flirty in the first two, then Funny in the latter two. Their best King base totals are 7, 7, 7 and 9. A choice that gives another NPC more points can be equally useful for that character's later threshold. All choices converge on the normal completion; they do not lock this chain behind one answer.
The court route continues on Vespa's page after these encounters. The King has no personal H2H or date action added by this chain.

Request Royal Proclamation

At brothel reputation 2 or higher, choose Request Royal Proclamation as a Throne Room location activity, 10 AM–5 PM. It costs 2,000 gold, completes once, and adds 1 to the business's promotion level. It has zero configured game-time cost and no additional King-friendship requirement.
This is a paid business promotion, separate from Leadership Wisdom, the Royal Appointment and the later court route. It gives no King affection and does not unlock private-client visits before reputation 17.

Optional Private-Client Bookings

The King enters the Receive a Client roster at brothel reputation level17. Start this action at the Rose & Thorn entrance with Netorare enabled, while operating a brothel. The hotel branch does not provide this system.
The roster selection is random among eligible clients, so starting a booking does not guarantee The King. The system has a shared once-per-game-day booking allowance, separate from his ordinary Talk counters. A completed accepted visit takes 30 minutes and pays the offered fee directly, with possible tip and quality bonus. Declining the booking or an unwilling worker's response takes 10 minutes and still uses the booking allowance, without the accepted-visit payment.
Use an eligible worker who is active, healthy, on shift and available, rather than resting, away at the resort or assigned as the Ballroom apprentice. Active monster workers need 30 Tamed. Vespa #22 is excluded from this client's booking choices. His authored preference is polish and capable attention, with Elara listed as his favorite; special pairing scenes exist for Elara, Ember, Sandra.
The actual shared service logic uses Loyalty/Tamed for willingness and the average of Dexterity and Ability for quality. For monsters, Agility supplies the Dexterity slot. Appearance and Charisma affect tip calculation (Allure and Aura for monsters). The client's legacy favorite, stat and weight fields do not replace these implemented calculations or the uniform client selection.
Even a worker strong enough to exceed the difficulty retains a 10% upset chance. Client visits award business and selected-worker rewards separately; they do not grant ordinary The King affection or NPC intimacy experience. A successful worker praise bonus can give the selected worker's NPC 5 direct affection, rather than The King.

Troubleshooting

  • No daytime portrait: visit Throne Room, 10 AM–5 PM. His evening portrait is in Royal Bedroom, 9 PM–midnight.
  • Talking in a second room gives a penalty: both rooms share five daily audiences.
  • Challenge missing: complete Sashina's Brothel Confession, then visit during daytime court while Elara is not on vacation.
  • Farmers Market travel missing: complete Sonia's research at Known, Research Lab, 9 AM–5 PM, after the challenge.
  • Potato Solution missing: finish Christy's Potato Education and carry its Sack of Potatoes. Check Elara's vacation status.
  • Sack gone before delivery: the King consumes it as intended. Wilfred's next scene uses Potato Solution completion, not another sack.
  • Royal Appointment missing: finish Wilfred's delivery, Rural Farm, 6 AM–6 PM, then return to daytime court with Elara available.
  • Accounts review missing: use the location activity, 5–7 PM, after the appointment and Chamberlain introduction, with both Acknowledged and reputation 4.
  • Later court encounter missing: follow the previous stage, then check the table's location, time, affection stages, reputation and vacation requirements.
  • Wisdom gives no Leader increase: Leader must already exist from learning Leadership before claiming this once-only reward.
  • No private-client visit: check reputation 17, NTR, brothel operation, available workers and the shared daily booking allowance. Another eligible client may be selected instead.
There are no configured ordinary gifts, apartment romance, personal dates, worker recruitment for the King, resort invitation, Kupie roster entry or pregnancy route.
