Overview

Lord Chamberlain is the crown's chief administrator in Kings Demesne, Medieval era. His walkthrough covers daily conversations, his introduction, the later court sequence and a separate optional private-client appearance. The court instructions below give progression requirements without revealing the scenes' resolutions.

Favorite stats improve the shared relationship calculation; Accounting doubles its multiplier. It is not a lesson taught by the Chamberlain. The affection amounts below are base affection, before relationship modifiers.
  1. Visit Royal Castle → Throne Room, 7–10 AM or 5–7 PM, for The Man Behind the Audience. Any of its three answers gives 13 base affection including completion.
  2. Use Speak with Chamberlain up to five times daily, across his available locations. Build Known for the second court step and later Acquaintance for steps 16 and 18.
  3. Complete The King's food-supply quest through The Royal Appointment, then reach Acknowledged with both the King and Chamberlain and brothel reputation 4.
  4. Choose the Throne Room location activity, Discuss the Rose & Thorn Accounts, 5–7 PM. This manually starts court step 01 and has zero game-time cost of its own.
  5. Follow the court table below. The next Chamberlain encounter is Elara's Office, 9 AM–6 PM, with Elara Known, Chamberlain Known and reputation 5, while Elara is not vacationing.
  6. Continue the sequence to step 11, Throne Room, 5–7 PM, at Known and reputation 14; then step 16, Throne Room, 10 AM–5 PM, at Acquaintance and reputation 18, with the additional King and Barnard requirements listed below.
  7. For his last court encounter, finish step 17 and Vespa's Medieval Festival date, then visit Elara's Office, 6–11 PM, at Elara Friend, Chamberlain Acquaintance and reputation 18, with Elara at home.
  8. His private-client appearance is optional and separate: it enters the random booking pool at reputation 13 under the business requirements below. Completing his private-offer court scene is not its unlock.
Court scenes can occur outside his ordinary portrait hours. Follow the scene's own location and starting window.

The evening Noble Quarter visit depends on game-day parity, rather than a weekday name. All locations use the same friendship and conversation counter.

Daily Conversations

Speak with Chamberlain works from Stranger, takes 15 minutes, and gives 1 base affection per normal use. The five-use daily limit is shared across the Throne Room, Castle Courtyard and Noble Quarter. The normal full allowance is 75 minutes and 5 base affection before modifiers.
Beyond the allowance, the action submits a negative base reward, and the shared conversation system can apply escalating over-limit penalties and Charm checks. Moving to another location does not reset the allowance. Stay within five uses for reliable positive conversation rewards.
There is no gift action, skill-teaching action, personal H2H, apartment invitation or date on his portraits.

Introduction

The Man Behind the Audience triggers automatically once in Throne Room, 7–10 AM or 5–7 PM. It has no prior affection or court-quest prerequisite.
Completion awards 10 base Chamberlain affection, and Caring, Funny and Flirty each add 3, for 13 base affection with any answer. All three choices reach the normal completion. Finish this introduction before attempting the accounts activity.

Court Progression

The opening is manual: use Discuss the Rose & Thorn Accounts, Throne Room, 5–7 PM after The Royal Appointment and his introduction, at King Acknowledged, Chamberlain Acknowledged and reputation 4. It completes Royal Revenue Review once.
Steps 02–18 are automatic, each completing once. Every step requires the preceding one plus the additional requirements shown. The numbers identify progression without revealing the court storyline.

Vespa's introduction and Barnard's introduction are separate encounters on their own pages. Vespa's festival date is an additional requirement for step 18; merely completing step 17 does not replace it. Vacation checks apply to the steps that list Elara's availability.
The Chamberlain receives affection from steps 01, 02, 11, 16 and 18. Other steps connect the route and may require friendship with other characters, but do not award him affection.

Add a choice bonus to the fixed reward only once. All three answers converge on each encounter's normal completion; choosing a different affection bonus does not permanently block the court chain.
For step 16, visit Throne Room, 10 AM–5 PM even though his ordinary portrait is absent then. For office encounters, use Elara's Office at their own times; his courtyard or Noble Quarter schedules are not additional gates.
His portion of the court sequence requires Acquaintance, not a romantic relationship. The later court continuation is covered on Vespa's page.

Optional Private-Client Bookings

Lord Chamberlain enters the Receive a Client roster at brothel reputation level13. Start this action at the Rose & Thorn entrance with Netorare enabled, while operating a brothel. The hotel branch does not provide this system.
The roster selection is random among eligible clients, so starting a booking does not guarantee Lord Chamberlain. The system has a shared once-per-game-day booking allowance, separate from his ordinary Talk counters. A completed accepted visit takes 30 minutes and pays the offered fee directly, with possible tip and quality bonus. Declining the booking or an unwilling worker's response takes 10 minutes and still uses the booking allowance, without the accepted-visit payment.
Use an eligible worker who is active, healthy, on shift and available, rather than resting, away at the resort or assigned as the Ballroom apprentice. Active monster workers need 30 Tamed. Lord Chamberlain has no configured family-exclusion entry. His authored preference is composure and discretion, with Vespa listed as his favorite; special pairing scenes exist for Elara, Shadow, Vespa.
The actual shared service logic uses Loyalty/Tamed for willingness and the average of Dexterity and Ability for quality. For monsters, Agility supplies the Dexterity slot. Appearance and Charisma affect tip calculation (Allure and Aura for monsters). The client's legacy favorite, stat and weight fields do not replace these implemented calculations or the uniform client selection.
Even a worker strong enough to exceed the difficulty retains a 10% upset chance. Client visits award business and selected-worker rewards separately; they do not grant ordinary Lord Chamberlain affection or NPC intimacy experience. A successful worker praise bonus can give the selected worker's NPC 5 direct affection, rather than Lord Chamberlain.

Troubleshooting

  • No portrait: check the three schedules above, including even-numbered days in the Noble Quarter.
  • Talking in another room does not restore positive rewards: all rooms share five daily conversations.
  • Accounts activity missing: finish The Royal Appointment and his introduction, reach Acknowledged with both him and the King, build reputation 4, and use the Throne Room location activity, 5–7 PM.
  • Inspection missing: finish step 01, reach Known with Elara and Chamberlain, build reputation 5, and visit Elara's Office, 9 AM–6 PM, while Elara is not vacationing.
  • Later court encounter missing: check the previous numbered step, the table's location and time, the other characters' affection, reputation and vacation requirements.
  • Step 16 missing while his portrait is present: its own window is 10 AM–5 PM, rather than his portrait windows.
  • Step 18 missing: finish step 17 and Vespa's festival date, reach Elara Friend and Chamberlain Acquaintance, and visit Elara's Office, 6–11 PM, at reputation 18, while Elara is at home.
  • No client appearance: check reputation 13, NTR, brothel operation, worker availability and the shared daily booking. Another eligible client may be selected instead.
There is no configured personal H2H, date, apartment route, pregnancy route, resort invitation, Kupie roster entry or worker recruitment for Lord Chamberlain.
