Sylwithe's Hollow — Complete Guide
Sylwithe's Hollow is a Medieval crystal shop deep in the Whispering Woods. It offers repeatable equipment upgrades, three equipment accessories, the Enchanted Harp for Love Training, and the exclusive Tempest Strike skill. This guide covers access, costs and effects without revealing Sylwithe's conversations or major story outcomes.

Quick Start

  1. Travel to Medieval → Village Outskirts → Whispering Woods.
  2. Take Darkened Path (5 minutes), then Sylwithe's Hollow (5 minutes).
  3. Check your content access: entering the Hollow requires the paid content entitlement. There is no relationship or guild-clout prerequisite for its entrance.
  4. Bring Crystals for the shop. Equipment upgrades cost 10 Crystals per level; purchases take no game time.
  5. For Tempest Strike, bring 5 Crystals and $10,000,000, meet Mystic 60, and budget 350 minutes, 180 Energy and 100 Calm before modifiers.
Sylwithe is present 24 hours a day, every day. Return via Leave → Darkened Path → Return to Woods; each return leg takes 5 minutes.

Talking to Sylwithe

Talk to Sylwithe takes 15 minutes, has +1 base relationship point, and a normal daily allowance of 7 talks. The ordinary relationship modifiers and over-limit rules apply; seven is the safe allowance, not a guarantee of seven identical displayed gains.
The shop and Tempest Strike training do not require a high relationship stage. Talk for his character dialogue at your own pace. There is no Hollow faction, clout track or quest board.

Equipment Upgrades

Action Cost per level Result Maximum
Upgrade Weapon 10 Crystals +1 stored melee weapon level 10
Upgrade Armor 10 Crystals +1 stored armor level 10
Upgrade Ranged 10 Crystals +1 stored ranged weapon level 10
Each purchase increases the selected stored equipment level by exactly one. All three can be bought repeatedly until level 10. There is no requirement to reach Gastoff's cap first, though using cheaper gold/material upgrades before Crystals usually saves Crystals.
Crystal budget: 10 × (10 − current level) for each slot. From level 5, finishing one slot costs 50 Crystals; from level 8, it costs 20. Three slots starting at level 7 cost 90 Crystals altogether, not 30.
Inventory shows names such as Runic Sword (level 8) and Divine Armor (level 8); upgrade checks use the stored numbered level. Main equipment levels are separate from effective armor bonuses from Forge pieces, skills and other key items. An effective armor bonus does not prevent a stored armor-level purchase below level 10.
The Hollow supplies a reliable repeatable route to level 10. It is not the only source of extra equipment levels: the dungeon blacksmith, encounters and other rewards also exist. See Blacksmith and Forge and Combat System.

Accessories and Enchanted Harp

Purchase Crystals Inventory / effect
Mastery Guidebook 5 Rare maid item: +35% equipped maid EXP
Manager’s Badge 5 Rare maid item: +5% brothel wealth and +3% reputation
Enchanted Harp 10 Key item: +1 phantom sylph on every active Love Training charm job
Zen Pendant 7 Rare worker item: 10 less daily work stress and +1 flat reputation
The two maid items disappear from the shop while owned, including while equipped. The Harp is a one-time key item. Zen Pendant can be purchased repeatedly in the current implementation, at 7 Crystals per copy; each copy must be equipped on a worker to benefit her. All four purchases cost zero game time.

Equipping the accessories

  • Mastery Guidebook and Manager's Badge go into the maid-item inventory. Equip them in Maid Management on a recruited maid with an available item slot. Keeping them unequipped gives no benefit.
  • Guidebook adds 35 percentage points to that maid's EXP multiplier; other applicable EXP bonuses are added separately. It does not increase every maid's EXP.
  • Badge contributes +5% brothel wealth and +3% reputation through the equipped-maid item calculation. The calculation sums equipment on acquired maids; there is no separate time-of-day duty requirement. This shop grants one Badge, so it does not provide an unlimited Badge-per-maid purchase loop.
  • Zen Pendant goes into worker equipment. Equip it on the worker who should receive its 10-point reduction to daily work stress and +1 flat reputation contribution. These are work-calculation benefits, not an automatic ten-point recovery for every idle worker. See Brothel Management for daily processing and resting/vacation rules.

Enchanted Harp in Love Training

The Harp is a permanent key item, so no maid or worker slot is required. Ownership adds one phantom sylph to each active charm job's production in Kupie's Love Training. It stacks with the other relevant key-item bonuses, including Celestial Trumpet. It does not create a charm job, supply that job's inputs, or affect unrelated production jobs.
See Kupie Love Training for charm production, elapsed time and upgrades.

Tempest Strike Training

Requirement / cost Base value
Relationship Stranger or higher
Mystic 60
Wealth $10,000,000
Crystals 5
Time 350 minutes
Energy 180
Calm 100
Access Paid content
Repeatable? No; disappears after learning Tempest Strike
The action is available from Stranger, so relationship grinding is not part of the unlock. Mystic 60 is its stat requirement; it disappears after Tempest Strike is learned. Its training scene awards +30 base Sylwithe relationship as well as teaching the skill. Costs and relationship gains can be affected by the normal action modifiers; the table lists base values.
Stormslash is needed to use the benefit. Learn Stormslash at Ability 22 through a combat-skill learning action. Sylwithe's training action does not explicitly require Stormslash for visibility, and training Tempest Strike does not teach Stormslash for you. Having Tempest Strike alone does not create a separate attack button.

What it does in combat

When you use Stormslash with Tempest Strike learned:
  • The hit gains +5% damage and a lightning element check. Lightning weakness doubles this stage of damage; lightning strength halves it.
  • If the enemy survives the opening hit, the game rolls for additional lightning hits against that same enemy.
  • The first continuation chance is 50%, falling by 5 percentage points after each successful extra hit: 50%, 45%, 40%, and so on down to 5%.
  • The first failed continuation ends the chain, and a defeated enemy stops it. It is not an attack across multiple enemy targets.
  • The extra hits use the combat damage pipeline, including guard and applicable Assassin progression. An active Luck Potion can improve continuation checks, with at most one rescued failed check in that chain.
For the complete combat rules and class interactions, see Combat System and Specialist Class.

Planning Your Spending

  • Buy ordinary sword/armor upgrades from Gastoff first when their gold and materials are easier to spare. The dungeon blacksmith can also raise eligible melee weapons and armor through level 8 using Dragon Coins.
  • Finish the specific slot you need rather than assuming every slot needs to reach 10 immediately. The Hollow does not sell grimoire levels.
  • Save mining and Infinity materials for Forge armor pieces independently of this shop's Crystal budget. Those pieces stack with your main armor.
  • The Harp is useful when charm production is already active; Guidebook is useful when you are developing a maid. Equip accessories before expecting their effects in reports.
  • Tempest Strike requires a substantial time/resource budget in addition to money. Learn Stormslash and plan recovery around the training before heading into combat.

Troubleshooting

The Hollow entrance is blocked

The route has no relationship or faction requirement, but the final travel action is paid content. Check the game's content-access message and current entitlement. Entering Darkened Path by itself does not prove that the Hollow is unlocked for your version.

An equipment purchase is unavailable

Check the selected stored level, the 10-Crystal cost and content access. A slot at level 10 cannot be increased here. Effective armor from accessories is a separate value.

Tempest Strike is missing or unavailable

Check Mystic 60, whether the skill is already learned, current content access, and the displayed resource costs. High relationship is unnecessary. If training is complete but combat seems unchanged, check that Stormslash itself is learned and selected.

The accessory seems to do nothing

Confirm it is equipped in the correct maid/worker system, that the character is recruited, and that the relevant work or EXP calculation is actually running. The Harp is the exception: it works from Key Items without equipping.
